Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy - Zeebiro E-commerce

Overview

Zeebiro offers Cash on Delivery (COD) as a convenient payment option for customers who prefer to pay for their orders at the time of delivery. COD aims to provide trust and flexibility, especially for customers who may not have access to digital payment methods or prefer cash payments.

Eligibility for COD

  • COD is available for deliveries within specific geographic locations where reliable COD logistics support is available.

  • COD is applicable only for orders within a certain price range (e.g., ₹500 to ₹10,000). Orders outside this range may not qualify for COD.

  • Certain products, such as fragile items, high-value electronics, or customized goods, are excluded from the COD option for security reasons.

Order Confirmation and Verification

  • All COD orders require confirmation by phone, SMS, or email before dispatch to reduce cancellations and fake orders.

  • For high-value COD orders, additional verification such as OTP or ID confirmation may be requested.

Payment on Delivery

  • Customers must have the exact amount ready at the time of delivery to avoid delays.

  • In certain locations, digital payments (UPI, cards) may also be accepted as alternative payment methods.

Delivery and Failed Attempts

  • Customers have up to two delivery attempts for COD orders. If delivery is unsuccessful after the allowed attempts, the order will be returned to Zeebiro.

  • Return shipping costs due to failed delivery or refusal of COD orders may be charged to the customer.

Cancellation and Refunds

  • COD orders can be canceled only before dispatch by contacting Zeebiro customer support.

  • Refunds for returned COD orders (due to damage, defects, or dissatisfaction) will be processed after inspection and in accordance with our Refund Policy.

COD Charges

  • A nominal COD fee may be applied to cover additional handling and cash collection costs.

  • Discounts or incentives may be offered for prepaid payment methods to encourage digital transactions.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure availability at the delivery address during the scheduled delivery time.

  • Provide accurate contact details for order confirmation and delivery updates.

Fraud Prevention

  • Zeebiro monitors COD order patterns to identify and prevent fraudulent activities.

  • Customers with a history of cancellations or fraudulent COD orders may be required to prepay or may be restricted from using COD.
